I say "done" with quotations because I'm always up for some last minute critique, however the semi-final animation is now complete. All that's left now is to edit the scenes together and compile the DVD. Same game plan as usual, I'm releasing the DVD at Anthrocon and shipping out orders for those who can't make it. These are much more fun than weekly audio updates, and I actually get shit done this way. Credits are: Virgin: Roland Guiscard Cat Named Joe (on phone): Psylantwolf Music: Myself MAD props to Roland and Psylantwolf for some awesome voice acting. Their voices fit the characters extremely well. Take note, I editted the trailer and then mixed some guitar riffs over it later without any consideration for the music. The actual segment is very musically based and there is no sound after the virgin hangs up the phone, only music. The acoustic guitar is the virgin and the electric is the vixen, and they play together so to speak. It is one of 4 segments in my upcoming DVD, "Wild for Passion" which is due to go on sale at Anthrocon 2008. I say "more or less" for two reasons. 1) This is a clean render taken directly from Anime Studio and hasn't been run through any video editing software. While I'm happy with this result, I may tweak things here and there in post processing. What you're seeing here is 100% Anime Studio. 2) Got suggestions or critiques? I always listen to every critique because they'll help me to improve the final product. You don't have to be terribly specific, just don't leave me guessing what's wrong with it. As I've said before there will be a special thanks portion of the DVD specifically for those who gave helpful critiques. The suggestions I'm looking for are concerning the hair and the angle. I'm going for a cartoony look for the hair, but it still looks a bit flat to me. As for the angle, she's on the edge of a bed and he's standing on the floor in front of her. She's in that position because he's supposed to be holding her legs, but I hid his layer so you could focus on her for now. It's kinda diagonal because I'm trying to make the best use of the frame as possible. In the DVD the frame will most likely be further to the left so he'll be in the shot. The black bars assure that every format television gets a widescreen image. When viewed on mosts 16:9 televisions the image fills the screen.
