This was done last year for my 2D media class. We were told to draw a realistic object or organism and intersect it with something relating to it. The only catch was that we were to shade is differently from the main picture, I'm not great at shading anyway. To me the paw prints represent freedom, weird but I'll explain my thinking. When I think of freedom I think of a wild creature, unrestrained by anything or anyone. Since I'm spiritually connected to wolves that animal is a wolf...hence the running wolf prints across the paper :D . ... I think I'll stick with cartoon-like characters...
