      Their server has got to be powered by Cyrix 386 processors running DOS... Geez Louise! It goes down more often than a streetwalker in Las Vegas...

   Empty words of adulation and appreciation do not allow an artist to grow. Overly critical and out right attacks on an artists' work are even more damaging.

   It's time I come forward and tell the truth: I'm an art forum saboteur. I deliberately walk into server rooms wearing a fur coat. "What? It's cold in here!" Right now, I'm holding Fur Affinity's server hostage and will release once I have my three demands: $100,000 in cash, getaway car, and I want the letter "M" stricken from the English language.
   
   Jeez, you'd think they would have known their server was going to give them trouble when they saw the fuse attached to it. They're asking for donations for a new server; it makes me wonder how they've been allocating the donations they've already been getting.
   
   Well, Happy Fourth to you, Cap! I don't need to worry about a bottle opener; I've got twist-off caps.

      If you see someone at your door with a sign "Will draw for beer," you'll know it's me... Actually, I've got a bunch of 24 oz bottles of brown ale I brewed last fall chilling in the fridge and there'll be fewer of 'em tomorrow evening... Good stuff.
      
      lol! The line about the fur coat in the server room is classic... You're right though, they should have known that something was wrong when the server crashed about as often as Evel Knievel... Oh, well... I'm just as happy here.

      Nothing could suck that bad! I had an account on Sheezy Art for about two months and let it go to seed because of upload problems and just plain lack of interest...

         My 4th was OK. I had to work it (can't get every holiday off when you work at a mental health facility). Plus my hometown had their fireworks cancelled due to all the flooding the area's gotten. But we made the best of it.
         
         Hellboy does look great. So does Batman, and Hancock, and Wanted. I just watch WAAAAYYYYYYY too many movies.

               One of my friends saw Hancock over the weekend, and he said it was OK. So that could mean thet it had some really good parts, or that it was just good enough. I never really know how to take his reviews. Just avoid Meet the Spartans. *shudders* It was HORRIBLE!!! *shudders again*

                  Spoofy movies like "Meet the Spartans" can be either really, really good (Blazing Saddles or Spaceballs) or really, really bad (Hot Shots). Thanx for the advice on Meet the Spartans though... I was gonna rent that this weekend...

                     Glad I saved you the agony that I suffered. I tend to agree with the website Rotten Tomatoes, and they rated it a big fat ZERO!!! The only good line in it was a face-off between Leonidas and comp vs inner city kids in a "your mamma" insult contest; Leo's line is "Your momma is so hairy, the only language she speaks is WOOKIE!" *makes wookie sound* Otherwise, they go waaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy past the point of funny with how they beat a gag into the ground, and then keep beating on it. Then, just for fun, they keep beating on it some more. Lousy.

   Yeah, I noticed that Fur Affinity was done AGAIN. This is fairly regular now, especially during their last major downtime they promised that it would never happen again after these new adjustments. Fur Affinity, is just a Fail these days. Not an "epic fail" but just a fail.

         I've been reading the message boards, they're tossing around the idea of paid membership. I don't think I'll be returning if that becomes a realtiy. Furry Art Pile is free and more reliable, they'd be making a huge mistake with that idea.
         
         You have a splendid 4th yourself. For a Patriot like me, this day holds extreme importance.
