Old Dog, New TricksPosted 3 days ago
Okay, so maybe I should've said Old Moosie instead.
But hey, I just posted a picture of my friend Kwipper's fursona. And it's special because I have fallen in love with my Wacom Tablet. "So what?" You say. Well, I have been struggling with "retiring" from 25 years of teaching. How can I use my talents to better myself and help others??? Then I started to do mAnimals while I was in a wheelchair due to my accident. I found them very hard to do, because I am a perfectionist, and I was still learning Photoshop back in 2005. Recently I decided, as a lark, to color MuscleWolf's drawings. Encouraged by Blathering Bear, I started using Photosop with MW's drawings. And I finally tackled using my Wacom Tablet that has been SITTING on top of my Mac Pro since AC2007!! If you could imagine, I was AFRAID of it because I was afraid of failing. But now my life has found more meaning. I'm not kidding. I loved doing certain types of drawing, crosshatching, ink washes, and magic marker. Now with my tablet, I have been experimenting with all the techniques I loved when I was younger, only on a tablet and a computer! MuscleWolf is watching me and he can't seem to keep his jaw shut. And I feel like a kid again, doing all this neat stuff. And I get an artist's SATISFACTION when I finish a piece. But I also get the HUNGER to start a new one right away! I haven't felt like this since college! Then there's Photoshop. I am firmly convinced that if you master Photoshop, you can do things like Levitate and turn dross into gold! lol. But I keep discovering new and different things with it and now with using the tablet. Like blending and smear. And shortcuts. It's almost as if I'm "absorbing" the info as I create new pieces with MW's drawings. Old Moosie, New Tricks.... About

You are totally welcome!! Let me know when you'd consider doing Dineegla as a subject. He's not as skinny, and extremely WIDE!!! A big boy at 2 years old!
