   HA! I predicted this, (kind of duh moment though right?)
   

   The question is, is it bandwidth, or is it the number of new users/simultaneous connections that is the culprit. With FA guaranteed to be out for a week, and perhaps more, there is going to be a rather drastic increase in the amount of traffic to this site.
   And that makes me wonder, comparing the way FAP works with other sites like DA etc, I wonder what processes, like the FAPForever, or the comment function take up the most amount of bandwidth and/or processing, to implement, at differing loads. Well that or just more bandwidth, aye?

   Not so much more users, as a very sudden increase in users, I'm betting the traffic on this site is going to double, triple, or maybe even more, before FA gets back up, that's huge, and a bit unexpected, a good test of the system perhaps?

   
   Oh! And another duh moment: great work on the quick turnaroun! Hopefully it didn't take away from any July 4th celebrations.

      Naw. AWS is super easy to scale. It just took a couple minutes for the server to reboot and everything was back to normal speeds.

   Well, I've been looking for a place that *isn't* FA for a while. I checked out Furverts.net, but the problem is you can't upload clean stuff. FAP seems to be what I've been looking for. Similar to FA, but *not* FA. So, sorry to contribute to the slowdown, but I'm glad you're here FAP.

   Hopefully when FA is back on its feets, at least some users think: "Hey, FAP was pretty cool, why I don't login and upload there more?" FAP could do with more users.
   The flood of art this morning was a shock to me: "Augh, so many great pictures, when I have the time to look them?" I presume this also evens out, when FA is back online.
   But as long as the action is here, I'm going to take all the fun out of it what I can.
