   I gotta say, FAP still hasn't really grown on me much 8 and in truth, its easier for you since people actually comment on your stuff. Sure I don't really go out of my way to post much since everything I got is old and I'm not one to post porn. or much nude I don't know |D;
   
   from the comments I read below about the whole fall of FA and how people react to it, for a website to crash is nothing new. I had patients with FA ever since 2005 when it had a really back crash and know one - even the Admins of FA didn't know if the website would come back.
   
   Yea, it really does suck that Dragonneer was attacked like that. Cause that dude really held it out for a website full of people that talk a lot of shit. I do agree about people switching to FAP when FA falls, cause hell I done it, and I didn't even mean too. Its a cycle pretty much, a sucky one at that, but people are weenies and just have to have their taste of furry porn everytday in order to live.
   
   p.s. yea the little jumping animals are hell of cute <3 they suprised me the first time I saw them come out xD!

      I wouldn't say many people have switched to FAP. FAP is like a waiting room for FA I think. I just wanted to post up some art somewhere. XD I had been building my FAP account for awhile.
      
      Also, aren't you on Artspots and DA too? I should think they're a fun place to go during FA down times.
      
      As for how it might be easier for me since people comment... I don't know what makes you think people are interacting with me that much here. Those numbers on the profile... they tell very VERY little compared to FA. In fact, it might say almost 100 people have commented to me, I know I looked, but that's not the case.
      
      Mainly I been talking to people like you whom I know. =P That and your art's duh bomb, if people are ignoring it I don't understand why. I like it. I like it a lot.

   Eh, websites go up, and websites come down. I have to deal with my bank website going down for regular maintenance purposes every Saturday night at Midnight promptly, and it doesn't come back up until Sunday morning, 6:00 AM on the dot. And considering that's how I keep track of my finances, I think that's a wee bit more important than FA not being there when I log on. X3
   
   But, my point is, it doesn't ruin my day when FA goes down. I mean, sheesh...if someone gets in that much of a huff when the site goes down to threaten to leave it 'for-evars!', then I think they really need to just step away from the computer and live a real, off-line life for a little bit.
   
   But on the other hand, I also understand that FA is a community, more than just a website. Hence why I'll go back the instant it's back up. Yes, FAP is nice, but I find it kind of irks me for some reason that I can't quite place my finger on. I guess I just like FA better, lack of search function and all.
   
   And chalk this one up to my lack of participation on the FA forums, but giving Dragoneer shit for glitches he does his damndest to fix with the rest of the FA team? Seriously guys...step away from the computer!

      The numbers make no sense, it's nice to have a search engine but FA is more organized and... ok that's all I got. I think for the most part FAP is just uncomfortable. It looks like FA but it's not...
      
      Plus my avatar is all smallish. Oh noes... look how small it is. I can't breath in that box!

   It'll be bad ass until it crashed again, then people will express how tired they are of the downtimes all over again, come here, and then return when it goes back up. Sounds like, "Screw you--I love you!" Syndrome.
   
   In fact, I wrote a satirical news article about how people react so dumbling to it--currently on my LJ, but I will post it to my journal on FA when it gets back up.

      I'm going to have to agree to a point. I'll have to read said news post to know the whole story where you stand.
      
      For the most part, there is this love hate relationship a lot of users are showing with FA right now. If it were aimed at FA, a life-less website with no feelings or cares, I wouldn't be bothered. There are a dozen, including FAP, sites for artists to go to dump their artwork.
      
      However, as I said to another commenter, the attack that dropped on Dragoneer himself... was a little too much for my tummy to take. The accusations made me sick! I couldn't believe how people turned on the man who has floated FA from his own pocket many months at a time and saved it from falling off into the abyss when it was tossed on the table for sale.
      
      It's..gah... sad...

         The people that flame Dragoneer often don't know how much in debt he was willing to put himself into in order to keep the site going. People are too wrapped up in their own delusions, and have their heads too far up their own ass to really know what is going on. One starts a rumor, then another, and they really don't have any idea what they are talking about. Then there are the people who go on about the site and its coding. Only the admins directly involved know the details---why people have to start a bunch of crap is stupid. They feel they are more important than others, and tote false knowledge.
         
         The news story I made is satirical, but it criticizes those who have this hate relationship, or panic whenever the site has issues.

   I agree! FAP is growing on me, despite the name. I like the whole tag thing A LOT, its really cool.
   
   And I 100% agree with the jumping animal thing. That just warms my heart. :3

   LOL i agree.
   Im glad some people are keeping PATIENT with this FA buisness. A lot of people have been freaking out and leaving FA for good over the critical hardware failiure. Yet, when FAs up and running for good they`ll come crawling back anyhow =P

      Yes, some really lost their heads. The way some were trying to chew up Dragoneer's feet particularly got to me. I'll be adding their names to my block list on FA when it gets back up as I've never been so... fumed... about watching a flame war like that.

      Of course, the first time it comes down again for whatever reason people will start screaming about the second coming of Christ. *sigh*
