To all my friends here on F.A.

It has been a while since I posted anything, I have been rather busy since
coming home from FC a while back. Sorry I haven't been as active in posting
or in favorites and replies to new artwork. I have been seeing a lot of great
new stuff posted in the past few weeks. A lot of you have had some interesting
events to report in your journals and its always interesting to read about them.
I leave you with updates on my projects...

ARTWORK - Since getting back to my artwork I have been working on a picture
for someone I met at FC. When they came back from the con and friended me they
were the 100th reader in my Live Journal list. The original plan was to do a simple
pencil drawing of their fursona. That plan was scrapped when their fursona turned
out better than I had planned. I have since moved the picture onto a larger 11 by 17
inch piece of Opus Paper and put in a detailed background. At this stage I am
painting the piece, this will be the longest and most difficult stage of production.
In some places there will have to be several layers of paint with shading and
highlighting. Not to mention the additional lighting effects because the scene has
many light sources. The fursona is also difficult due to what he is doing, not to
mention that I want the piece to appear like it was a flash photograph that has been
enlarged... you will have to wait and see what it is cause I aint telling.

WRITING - I have started writing the book of how I meet Kyel coyote. The really
neat part of it is how it will be presented. The story will be done as if they
were my memoirs, ( first person perspective ) Part of it will feature some of
my RL family members, (with all the names changed because some are
heroes and some are villains.) Mixing real life incidents with fiction is one of
the key features of the story telling formula. I wish to capture the vivid realism
used by Walter Lord and the effective storytelling used by Kyell Gold. I have
no idea when this project will be completed, no deadline has been set.

I hope you will be patient with me as I get back into my creative routines.

Keep creating.

Later.
