I have permanently left Deviant Art.

I don't want to get into a huge explanation or name names and crap like that. As of this afternoon I have deleted all my work on Deviant Art and have permanently left the site. I have been getting increasing amounts of drama, ( and a troll made threats to get my account suspended.) This morning DA staff suspended my account, therefore I have removed myself from the site in response to the harassment and censorship. I won't stay where I am not wanted and I certainly don't have the time to put up with high school drama. I am also increasingly worried about art theft on the site. Every day I see online alerts about the latest DA thief ganking someone's art and I have decided that now is the time to get out of DA.

I am still on Fur Affinity but will be returning more often to the VCL as my 3rd online gallery.
FAP gets promoted from 3rd to 2nd!

    You always get idiots somewhere and I guess DA is no exception here. At least here, VCL and FA we're all furries : )

      *Nods* Thats one thing that is going for these sites, whereas DA has a large population of non furs who apparently have some serious issues with free expression.

        It seems that the meaning of 'Freedom of Speech' has been lost in many groups. One of the main reason I like furry communities is because everyone seems so open-minded and accepting.

          Unfortunately web sites are like small countries of their own scattered about the net. Some are quite liberal, some are like dictatorships and some are anarchistic in nature. DA has become too anarchistic and dictatorial for me to bother with anymore. . . I am just as happy here and on Fur Affinity and the VCL... So far those sites still have freedom of expression and the admins don't attack and blindside an artist based on the opinion of an outraged troll.

          So far I have had nothing but wholehearted support for leaving that place and so it shall be.
