I had an idea...

Posted 1 year ago

I found a stack of pokemon cards. Ya know...the wizards of the coast game.

Well I thought "I can't just throw these out!" mostly because "there's gotta be a way to profit off of this shit!"

If I tried to open up a furbid deally and sold them WITH a commission for an thromorphic pokemon of your choice...

...would anyone actually go for it? I gotta pull some money together and I figure since pokemon is big now some shitty cards could be worth SOMEONE'S interests...

I'll pull a card listing together some time. Nothin special, but maybe you guys can give me more ideas to make this thing worth buyin' into. If doodled on each card that'd be funny but RUINS value. They've been kept in suprisingly amazing condition (compared to my poker sets) simply because thye've been sitting in a cigar box for years (aged to perfection!).

So gimme yo feedback, this lizard needs some GREEN! Get it? Lizzards are green...and money is reffered to as green because...ya know american currency is ...green.

Not green for long.... We're going the way of the funny money!

Something I loved was what the artist Blotch did with some old Polaroids. He painted over the actual picture, and painted a furry pic into it instead. Example: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/514292/

I think it might be fun/awesome/funny/cool to take the cards, cover the original pic (with paint or spray adhesive and paper or something), and do a little anthro version of the original pic on each one. Yeah, you "ruin" the cards, but like anyone plays the card game anymore...

Maybe I could just use photoshop...since I don't even own anything but watercolor paints...
