      Personally, I find its colors and rotating banner to be appealing.
      
      It does have a lot of faults beyond that in design, though.

         True! Looking for art on FA is kind of like a masochistic version of marco polo...some people like that!
         
         But, yeah, like the other guy said, you can change the layout by clicking the ♦-thing on the menu.

            I guess since I don't search out the yiffy stiffies on FA, that pain is something I've yet to experience -- I really only use the inbox, private messages, and control panel links, which are thankfully not buried. :V
            
            And yeah, did that. I'm still hating on the logo and top colors, but can't have everything! YET.

                  Then I hit tab and enter. That simple html link needs to move, seriously. It's in an extremely user unfriendly location as nearly every other site has 'post' or 'preview' one tab away, and once you accidentally hit it instead of at least a popup, you're routed to another page and you've lost your text. '___`
                  
                  Since my pretty paragraph is gone, short version. Blue looks like default hyperlink blue, the logo resembles the Comic Sans MS font, resulting in, imo, an amateurish appearance. Not everything needs to be a shiny punch in the face from the future, though, and considering how new the site is its looking somewhat rough is no surprise; it's nice that more attention is being paid to features and functionality rather than aesthetics.

                     2. The logo does suck. I had something that look more hand drawn, but that didn't look right for some reason, so I kept it the same.
                     3. Just read your other comment in your blog...the "light" layout is kinda sucky too. I'll make it suck less, I promise.
                     4. I agree! Not everything needs to be crazy Web2.0 drop shadow reflection gradient. The original redesign EVERYTHING had gradient backgrounds. It. Was. A disaster. So I made everything below the menu solid instead.
                     5. If you have any other suggestions, I'll totally implement them.

   Uh. I have the site bookmarked under a folder of bookmarks I check when bored and outta habit.
   
   Also, Nobu said some time back (appx 1 month) that my friends felt betrayed by me. I mean. Uh.
   
   My former friends felt betrayed by me.
   
   I guess so much so that those who do fell that way also figure that addressing this directly with me is a waste of time. :(

      Yeah, I have it bookmarked and pinned. Since the people that I am watching are not very active though, I tend to forget to check back. Too bad since these site has neato features.
      
      Betrayed? That is news to me. Then again, I'm generally out of the loop, so... '___`;; Not sure what that's about.

            I like mes my light colors, actually. Even on my BRIGIIGHGHT monitors, the dark scheme feels like it's a gateway to BLACK HELL.
