I Can't Bake

Why the hell are my cookies rising like little bread-loafs? WHY?!?! I've never been able to make a proper cookie. Tried five different recipes over the years. Always little cake cookies. Even the recipe promises chewy, or firm. SIIIIGH

Also, gimme your best chocolate cake recipe! GOGOGO

(or anything else that is made of win and orgasms)

    Because you have too much yeast in it, or you over mixed the batter. They are supposed to rise a bit, but you make it sound like they became puffballs. Do they taste alright?

        What are the other ingredients? I want to say that you should cut-back on the flour, but I would want to be sure. You see, Bread Flour already has yeast in it. To be honest, cookies that I've made never needed yeast at all.
