   I am extremely disappointed to see you leave, but I guess I can't stop you. I have to agree with a few people though, it's not gonna be a good place unless people make use of it. It's pretty sad people won't use this this site for various dumb reasons, typically centered around the "FA was there first" and "all my friends are already at FA" or something equally lame.

         Yeah, FA is really pissing me off. Something fucked up a long time time ago that's causing their shit to break down constantly, and I've never been impressed with their years of promises of revamping the site, and then not doing so. Hell, a search option would be nice.
         
         I tried DA, I've never been impressed with their attitude. Plus, I left when I heard they claim the rights to ones artwork once it hits their servers.

            yeah the constant outages are really annoying but to me its the best place for furs there is =/ but thats just me. so ill be on FA until it dies for good.
            its annoying for me to go to a new website whenever something breaks, and i just choose not to be on FAP because of my personal reasons
            best to say is its just not my cup of tea
            
            if someone wants to watch my art, they can do it on FA, DA, LJ and my art blog.

               The problem is this: we can't follow you on FA because the damn site hasn't worked properly in a long time. Every time they "fix" it, it goes down a matter of days later with each downtime longer than the last. Combine that with the fact FA's admins are both clueless and arrogant and it's a wonder that the fandom hasn't already abandoned that waste of perfectly good computing hardware.
               
               FAP won't be "the best place for furs" until more people know about the site and start using it. Leaving here isn't going to help that; it's like showing up for a party early and then leaving before most of the guests arrive.
               
               If you still want to delete your account, obviously nobody can stop you, but your "reasons" are, quite simply, nonexistent outside your imagination. Previously, there was a note on the account deletion page that said after you delete your account, it'll remain on the site, inactive, for 45 days in case your change your mind or in case someone was trying to pull a stunt on you. after that time, it's gone for good. Logging in - as you've done to post this entry - clears your request entirely.
               
               If it's still not working of you don't like it, send ekigyuu a note about it; this site is still a work in progress, but at least it functions, which is a lot more than can be said for FA.
