If you love wolves and animation, especially Don Bluth's work (The Secret of NIMH, All Dogs Go to Heaven, Titan A.E., etc.) you should really check this site out: The Blackblood Alliane This comic is drawn by a young woman named Kay Fedewa from Michigan and the backgrounds are done by E. Siegel. They both do wonderful jobs. I just ordered the first issue of the comic and it's wonderful! You can read the comic on this website, too. I really do believe eventually this will become a major animated movie. Kay is working hard to make everything happen. She had the comic printed professionally and she made an action figure of one of the wolves from sculpey clay and found a way to get it made in mass quantities in Hong Kong! Unfortunately the figures are out right now, but I do want one when she gets some more in. I think word about this wonderful artwork and story should be spread far and wide!

  • Hello. I'm a 32-year-old married female living in northern Michigan. I'm going to college for art. I have been drawing since I was a little kid. No, I'm not perfect, that's why I'm furthering my art education. I draw with pencil, use Prismacolor colored pencils and Prismacolor markers. When I have it, I use Photoshop. I also use Paintshop Pro. I paint ceramics, make sculpey figures, do cross stitch, make dreamcatchers, and paint suncatchers as well. I like to draw wolves mostly, but I'm trying to broaden my horizons. You wouldn't know that with all the freakin' My Little Ponies in my gallery, though, lol. I absolutely LOVE to look at other people's art. It really motivates and inspires me. I love wolves, dogs, rats, dragons and horses. I am also starting to like cats since I got two kittens two-weeks-ago. I am a shy person until I get to know people. I also love music. My dad and my brother are both musicians and my life has always been filled with all kinds of music. I like any genre as long as the song sounds good to me. I wish I could play music, but I got the art, lol. Well, it's nice to meet you all. :)

      Hi! I was in doubt whether I should join here because I don't do anthro art, but I have actually been thinking about giving it a try after reading a scene in a book about an anthro wolf that really got to me. I'd like to draw that scene. Besides, I like to look at other people's art and be able to favorite and comment.
      I have a question, though. I can't find where to put my avatar on at. Can you tell me where to do it at? Thanks.

        Sure thing! Just click on the "submit" button in the blue bar along the top of the screen. There will be two options, one being "artwork" and the other one under that being "user icon". You just click on that second one, and you can upload your icon. :)
