Hey all,

Geez, I can't believe FAP is closing. I never personally liked parts of it (*cough taggingsystemandlayoutcough*), but it was my backup for community when FA was down.

And this is my personal opinion- I think and feel that the guy who made and ran FAP as a hobby should have *at the least* had a couple guys or girls as backup to help him out. No one can 100% run a site for community on their own, and certainly not if they wanted it to be a lasting project, criticism on the subliminal messages behind its name aside for the time being. I personally think it's unprofessional- and yeah, while he meant it to be a hobby, he has done an immense disservice to the furry community/FAP's users by just shutting it down and not giving it to someone who cares about it.

Now, I'm probably gonna catch hell for what I just said, but it's what I'm thinking and feeling... I know each of us has put time and energy into putting our work up, 'backup for FA' or not- and I think it sucks that FAP's going down. I'm not a 'bad person' (though gods knows people online have tried to convince me of this idea of theirs as fiercely as they could to the point I've stayed off the 'net for a while at times) because of what I think or how I feel. We're all different, but in posting this, I at least am hoping I'm not the only one feeling or thinking this way.
