Artist commentary

Lila models her new black lace lingerie...

A mini painting I did this evening - ink and acrylic paints on 5"x7" illustration board.

It was really fun and quick to do a painting of this size, and I was able to do a whole scene and everything .. not that its terribly complicated, but still. I have a feeling I'll be doing more mini paintings to get some ideas down and have some fun - because thats what this is all about, right? ^.^

    Why has no one commented on this yet.

    I'm impressed by this, as 'roo anatomy is hard to pull off convincingly, yet you've drawn her here in a fairly complex pose and managed to have her body come across as very feminine. I do have to say the lighting strikes me as somewhat flat though, and in spite of it being a painting I think it could use more surface sharpness especially on the fur and bra detail, as the way some spaces are defined with hard edges and not others is a bit distracting.
