Artist commentary

Antarctica takes the initiative, and leans over Candi, holding her neck and planting a passionate kiss on her lips.. Candi submits to her lover's unusual dominance... (Antarctica is normally the passive one)

It has been years since I have drawn this couple, though the are a favorite of mine... Candi I've drawn recently, but I think the last time I drew them together was 2003. Well, here they are again - Candi the red panda and Antarctica the blue vixen. Candi and Antarctica are copyright Kacey Miyagami

Inked with microns and painted with acrylics, on 6.25"x9" illustration board.

    I like this, it's absolutely beautiful :) I also like how you used the word "Passive", I almost never hear that word, but it's good to see that someone else realises not all personalities in a relationship are black and white, dominant or submissive.
