Artist commentary

I was in the middle of a meeting at Badger Girls State (as though there weren't enough of those) when I decided to draw a cheetah. I seriously screwed up the ananomy in the face, so like every normal person would, I transformed it into a gryphon. I had fun with the markings because being cheetah instead of the usual lion, there would be marks on the wings as well. This picture has a slightly more realistic approach as compared to my watercolor gryphon. I hope you all enjoy!

Interesting, I like the pattern, and the body work is superb.

    I love the markings.

The body formation here is very nice, very slender and subtly powerful.

Well, that, and I'm just a total gryphon whore.
    Nice!
