Artist commentary

The true form of the parasitic organism, known only as "Z0IV", is currently unknown. All that is known about the creature is that it is very adaptable to it's surroundings. In the first stages of life it makes no attempt to flee when confronted with a predator, allowing to be eating and digested. Once digested a small part of the original organism still exists, replicate the host body's DNA and taken it into itself. Once fully passed the organism takes on that previous form that it absorbed. The creature never takes on the originals exact appearance, usually showing a mix of previous DNA as well as some of it's own. Thus, here we have that organism which has taken on the form of the Synx. Since the Synx is a top predator the organism Z0IV no longer has to find predators, and can instead finish it's life-cycle by reproducing and feeding it's own hunger, until the day another top predator comes along.
