Artist commentary

This is another type of the dog pets, I used doberman as reference. The culture background is based on several ancient Chinese Novels- The Jouney to the West-Xi You Ji; The Legend of Gods (God and Evil?? Never found any English name to this one, Feng Shen Bang, whatever...) This one is called Sky Howler in both novels, a pet for a god of war, and a good rival to the Monkey King, with the help of the Sky Howler this god win their first encounter. (Legend goes that the Cross-legged sitting is first invented by him, heh.)

Anyway, hope you all like it. Since it's a divine animal. (pet?) The cloud design may be similar to Okami Amaterasu, but in fact they are totally unrelated.
