Artist commentary

Apparently no one else has thought to do this...?
Anyway, Gaara is possessed by the one-tails, which is a Tanuki, so I drew him as a Tanuki. :3

I plan on drawing the other characters as the animals they're connected with, named for, etc.
(for example, Kakashi as a dog, Temari and Itachi as weasles, etc.)

    You forgot his big bawls. (as most tanuki statues and shifters were supposedly well but -over-endowed)

    Even though I hate Naruto with a bloody writhing passion, this is a great pic and I truly envy your ability with traditional media. The pose is fairly superb as well.

      Actually, I'm probably going to hit a few more of the lesser drawn characters first (at least, never drawn like this), since things like Kitsune!Naruto and Inu!Kakashi are actually pretty common. :P
      Or not, it just depends on how the 'inspiration' hits. :P
