Artist commentary

On FA I did a "request" post, where I allowed pretty much anyone to ask me to draw them something. Most were very general, for this one the request was simply "deer. Fat ones." So not being satisfied with just drawing over-weight deer, I had to put them in a believable situation, for example, sitting in front of a tv eating over salted, over-buttered pop corn.I mean, why else would they be fat unless they were also American? Anyway, since they're civilized deer and live indoors, they can be safe from ravenous wolves, who would other wise have no trouble catching them and feasting on their fatty limbs, since at this point the deer can't run particularly far or very fast. Too bad the wolves have no defeated the security system.

    Cute, biting sarcasm anyone?
None the less point made, and the sketch is good too.
