Just something done really quickly due to a request. I may do something more detailed later.

The difference between the pelvis in animals and humans is interesting, animal pelvises pitch more forward so you can see where the tail is.

Humans, their tail is well the kind of the sacrum, back part of the pelvis. If you see the very end you'll see how they fused at the very end after it was decided we didn't need tails.

Furries that are mostly human ...where do you put the tail? The best place is where you'll notice a V shape where the sacrum is. We often say "Small of the back" Even though our tails are fused they would not come out our ass. It's probably useless info for most others, but perhaps someone else can get something out of it.

    Well, I would definitely say that this is a VERY useful rule-of-thumb guide. On the overall, it doesn't belabor any point, while at the same time is clear and decently concise.

    On the matter of not containing porn... Hrmm, I can think of two or three ways to give folks porn while at the same time a decent anatomy lesson. I'm more than sure you could too!

    Getting the tail positioned properly always seems to be a tricky affair to get it done well - especially if you have a figure with a thick tail, a big butt or both. But either way, I think this guide is a good for beginner (or pretty much any) artists who like to get those anatomical details just right.

      It would be good, if people have an actual interest in learning. Just seems that people are concerned with favorites and how many comments they receive than to learn, but I'm sure there will be a few that might find interest in this, I think I should organize it better. Thank you sir.

    I hope people look at this and learn. I've always found it funny when I see someone draw the tail coming out the ass like it sprout from their assholes. Or half way up the back.

      I doubt it, it was done rather quickly and doesn't contain porn ;3 I also noticed people are more concerned with style than understanding.
