Future of This Land by *spiritcreations

Artist commentary

This bookmark features a Native American wolf standing against the background of his burning village, the blood of his own people and the new race that came upon his land smeared in his fur, and an oracle that shows the future of the land of which many thousands of people lost their lives for the land that stands for freedom and a land that is under God.

Each laminated bookmark is $8 and comes with tassles, leather straps with beads, or other decor.

Not sure what to make of it, I like to think it isnt anti-american, since being from the US, I take offense to that kinda stuff

I'm in the USA, and I love this country too, but we can't deny our history, either.

take the good with the bad, the trouble today is patriotism is near nonexsistant. You make it sound like america is so bad with treating natives, but Spain and Portugal did the same exact thing in South and Central America.

Yeah, but I'm not doing a bookmark about South and Central America (oh wait... I am with the Mayans XD). This bookmark is about America, and America WAS bad with the way they treated the natives. Hell, the natives still have a pretty shitty deal. Now, I love this country very much but I'm not going to deny the past, either. Don't take it so personally. It's not an attack on our country, just telling a story of the past.

The natives are more American than "Americans", you know.

Then anti-United States, but I feel people are too quick to blame the united states for everything, What about Spain? they did the same thing in central and south america, Portugal was in on it too.

Okay, you seriously need to chill out. This bookmark isn't ABOUT Spain and what they did. I'll be covering that later on. :P
