Artist commentary

Commission for Reggie Speakman of his character, Hurtful, walking around the streets in the dead of a cold night. I absolutely *loved* doing this commission and had a blast painting it! I especially loved painting the snow and it was great capturing this character. I also must admit, Cowboy Bebop totally inspired this piece (snow instead of rain), so I listened to the OST over and over while painting this. :) Can you find the scene that inspired this piece? :)

    awsome shading on this one....I notice many have a hard time shading black just right, but you managed to do it without flaws. Excellent work here ^^
