Farellemoon Character Sheet 2008

Artist commentaryPossibly the most complex piece of art I have done to date of my fursona Farelle. From start to finish this took about three weeks to do. I went through tons of sketches, lots of editing and even dipped my toes into a few red lines from artists over IM, Live Journal and Art Spots.I feel for the most part the sheet is pretty straight forward but then again I know Farelle inside and out. Some of the changes made to my character since last I made a character sheet of her ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/46419/ ) are that she now has a darker purple above the eyes for 'wolfie' markings as was suggested a huge number of times by my red liners. I felt it wasn't a big deal to change at all and if people felt it made her look more wolfish some how well then hazzah. Another change is that she no longer wears glasses. This came about from my coming to terms with the fact that I really do HATE wearing glasses. Contacts may never be in my future as I tried them and they didn't work out too well. So, real me will always have them. Purple wolf me doesn't need to though. Come on now, in all fairness I have strived to make Farelle far more like myself than I feel is the norm around here... let me have this one thing! @_@ Also, on a minor not her left butt cheek is also now tan to match the other. That was just a design choice I felt made the character's pattern work better. So, I don't know what questions might come up over this, feel free to ask anything, but I have a feeling at least these few will: Q: What does the 'Triple J' in her name mean? A: It's a silly nickname I picked up a long time ago from attending a few Colofur Sketch Nights (back when I was one of the only straight females to attend, so, LONG ago) and someone kept calling me "Jenny Jenn Jenn". Eventually, I took to it as a middle name for my fursona. Q: I see a duck. What the heck is up with the duck? A: That's an inside little gem that belongs between myself and my best friend Pak, aka TheInfamousPak, who once suggested that I was a duck. Now, he claims he called me a duck in response to my calling him a platypus but I clearly recall calling him a platypus in reaction to him calling me a duck. I suppose the truth will remain a mystery. In either case, it has long stood out to me as being one of the first memories launching into a chain of coming to understand just what a true best friend was and thus I felt it would be fun to list it along with the other forms (feral, werewolf and butterwolf) Farelle can sometimes be found in.
