Artist commentary

Although Synx's race has a skeleton it rarely serves as support. More often then not the body is what actually supports the bones. Synx's body is a giant writhing muscle that can function without the skeleton for the most part. This means it's arms, legs and everything else has the mobility of a tongue, but while still being restricted to the shape of the occupying skeleton. Synx and it's race needs this mobility to navigate the large bodies of what ever they become a parasite for, moving in just the right way so they can avoid vital organs and arteries. This comes at a price however, meaning their mobility in the outside world is awkward at best. Simple things like walking can be annoying.
