Artist commentary

"Remi Emo"

Remi Vitoux the artist beaver - his room, his latest superhero wood-sculpture, and his older brother/guardian Lee, (who works as a contractor,) standing in the doorway. Remi and Lee are both "eager beavers" in their own way, with their own kind of work, but they don't always see eye to eye.

    Portrays the inner conflict of many artists quite well I think.

      Thanks :). It definitely portrays the inner conflict of this one.

      My stepfather (partial basis for Lee in this pic) thinks I shouldn't do any more art until I'm able to find a steady job (I'm a freelance writer) - but my art *demands* my attention! :)
