Artist commentary

A commission for Spark! His character...Spark...is a wolf with fox coloring. Creative title, no?

This was quite a challenge lighting-wise, but I think its about right now. A making-of has been uploaded on deviantart http://myenia.deviantart.com/art/Making-of-The-Northern-Lights-80752833 as several people have asked for an updated tutorial, which I simply don't have the time for.

    I'm seriously Transfixed on the northern lights here. Amazing details in the fox as well. Can't help but feel happy when looking at this.

      actually, not really. I just used a soft brush, tried to do them in one stroke so it didn't look funny...and did alot of edit>undo.
