      Not really actually :) I had some references from google, and many of the feathers are mirrored copies. It was surprisingly easy to do, although quite time consuming. I would say the hardest part of all of this was getting the perspective to look right.

          Perspective is very difficult... I really don't know of any artist that would say it's easy. There are certain tricks to it, but (as cliche' as it sounds) practice is the only real way to get it right.

      No, not a particular skill. Dragonphlu wanted his character to be stylized as a "mesmer" from the Guild Wars Online game wearing "monument armor"... Other than that, the aura on the floor, and the hand spell have no specific significance, and the runes in the middle are really just scribbles that looked cool :)

        I'll assume he's annoying the crap out of whammos by fast cast spamming Conjure Phantasm all over then.
