Artist commentary

Doing a thing a week\month with my friend Vixen

Vixen: "Draw a femme Kraden, she's gotta be pretty with nice fluffy angel or fairy wings"

I seem to be having this (female Kraden) requested a lot this past month, this is the third time O_o
Are you guys trying to tell me something?
There will be an alternate digital version with clothes...because I wanna mess with outfits :3

Drawn with a 2B mechanical pencil.
Inked with a 0.2, 0.4 & 0.8 Artlines
Colored with Faber-Castell Pencls.

    While the underlying wing structure could use a revision, the picture is cute. Yellow and blue is an interesting combination.

      You mean in the layering of the feathers or the general build to the wings?
      They're pretty shocking on realistic structure ^^;

        The general build. Remember that wings are like modified arms, so the anatomical structure follows more or less like human arms. Take a look at bird skeletons for a better reference to drawing feathered wings. ;)
