Just testing out the upload system, with the updated ref for Vera. I'm still not satisfied with it (still looks too damn complicated! argh!) But it'll work for now! :3

    she's so gorgeous ^^ the dark flowy hair is my favorite. Probably because I'm a sucker for brunettes ^^ I'd try drawing her but I've got some practicing to do before I can do her justice XD

    How did you come up with that species name? o.o I'm making my own species of character, and i had a heck of a time trying to come up with a name. x.X;

      Well I looked up "Long-tailed creature" in several languages, including Gaelic, Icelandic and Latin, which are my faves. I found the Icelandic translation for "long tail" to be the most whimsical (langur hali), and "creature" translated to "Vera", which was too cool ^^ These are only from free translators I downloaded so I'm not certain of their accuracy, though they're from different sites and such and all say the same thing.. even if it's wrong oh well I like it :)

      Some of my favorite names have come from other languages, the bible, or by scrambling words to make anagrams until I found something that sounded cool lol.
