Artist commentary

Eric: Amadeo is the child of a vampire and an angelic red panda. Or something. Frankly, I forget and actually think there was even more to him than just those three things. It's been a long while but I'm pretty sure the big idea was "Everyone elses' characters are 1/2 monkey and 1/5 jew and 3/4s nickledime. Wtf, fine."

Obviously he turned out gorgeous as everything Kei does, though perhaps strangely more so. Anyway, Amadeo was lonely and essentially enslaved/spiritually bound a cute female raver canine by the name of Selene. He has father and abandonment issues though this avenue was never ventured. He is decidedly of some obscure branch of the Valen. He has three wings, a particular point of interest, novelty and reference to the series Angel Sanctuary which I was all up the butt of at the time. (The ending is wonderful.)

Amadeo is ours. For that matter, so is everything.

    What attracted me was the wings. They turned out great, and I admire anybody who can draw wings as well as this. I also like the character, and the expression the character has. Interesting piece of artwork!
