          Oh, the amount of times I tried to draw Sonic as a kid, each time failing horribly.

          Actually, when I draw in the proper style, it doesn't change much from when I was younger.

          Go figure :P

            You should try reading some of the recent comics of him. The rules of drawing him are TOTALLY different now, and your version actually isn't too far off. (how's THAT for cool? ^_~)

              If you're talking about the Archie comics, I can almost never get them, as my location in "Backwater - UK" prevents me from finding them.

              I know of one place which sells it, but you have to be there like the day they get it in, which changes every time @.@

                Argh... I hate it when that happens. I stayed in York once (The rain there was UNBELIEVABLE...but that's another story...XD) and I went to a comic store and the guy there didn't even know what Sonic was..... T_T I bet you can find some scans of them somewhere, but maybe I can try to copy one in OC and show you. It's kinda like the "Adventure" version of sonic, but his spikes look like exacto knives. Very anime-ish style, which I like a lot.

                  I have a couple of the recent comics 160-163, and the art style is very nice, particularly.

                  I myself have been trying to branch away from anime lately, find my own style. I think I'm doing a good job so far. :P

                    Oh, that's pretty cool. I personally love anime, because I find that I can put every detail that I want into it, and that makes it easier for me to do. I also like my own version of furry artwork that combines anime/manga with something else. I personally think that this version of Sonic you've made is very good, and it does have some anime qualities, but I don't think it would look good without them. (the eyes & the facial shape)
