Artist commentaryHaven't done a good Kemetic piece in a while, so here we have Hathor doing what she does best. Against a beautiful Sahara sunset.Color and value plays a key role in this of course, most of the drawing is earth-toned and sepia toned with heavy shadows... another piece inspired by the movie 300, which I saw and loved. Only break in the color is some blue and green here and there, especialy in her fabric, which is ment to complement the dunes in the background. I also like her face here then the last Hathor drawing I did... it's much more delecate and is quite lovely for a anthro cow I think. And by the way thank the gods for Adobe Photoshop and color editing... my scaner apparently doesn't know what a mint green looks like! It turned my greens blue! *shakes fist at it* |

Most definately my fav of all your pieces, this is amazing! The pose and anatomy are both gorgeous, great muscle structure! I love the movement in the fabric, great folds, and her hair is flowing beautifully! This is really such an astounding picture, I hope to see more like this! <3
