Artist commentary

I drew this picture of my betta fish, Dratini, abought 4-years-ago. Sadly, he's long since passed on. It is all freehand, I didn't even look at the real fish. It is done with pencil first, then colored pencils. My wrist really hurt after all those scales and all the shading, lol. I did him in kind of an Anime style.

    Pretty, I still have 2 of my Betta's a red one and a white one. I had a blue crowntail in my tropical tank with my Mollys and tetras but it died about a month and a half ago.

    I love this pictures little face. So cute.

      Thanks! I don't have any bettas right now, but I want to get a crowntail soon. They're so pretty.
